What's under or near the tree?

Realistic range

$700 – $1,400

Make it exact, free

Based on our published North Idaho ranges. Lean, rot, and haul distance can move the number either way; the on-site estimate is exact.

The published ranges

Small removal, under 30 ft $300 – $900
Medium removal, 30 to 60 ft $900 – $2,000
Large removal, 60 ft and up $2,000 – $4,000+

What actually drives the price

Height sets the starting point, but the real cost drivers are risk and access. A 70-foot ponderosa in an open pasture drops in an afternoon. The same tree leaning over a roof, with rot in the trunk and a chip truck parked three lots away, becomes a full day of rigging and lowering piece by piece. When we walk the job we're reading lean, deadwood, targets, equipment access, and how much material has to leave the property. That's why the estimate is done on site, and why it's free.

Cost questions

How accurate is this tree removal estimate?

It's a realistic starting range, not a quote. Two trees the same height can price very differently once lean, rot, and what's underneath come into play. The free on-site estimate is exact, and it's still the number we stand behind.

What makes a removal cost more?

Anything that slows the rigging: targets under the tree like roofs, fences, and lines, tight access that keeps the truck far away, heavy lean, dead or rotten wood that can't be climbed safely, and hauling distance for the debris.

Does the price include cleanup and hauling?

Yes. Our removal prices include chipping the brush and hauling debris off site. Stump grinding is a same-visit add-on if you want the stump gone too, and we'll quote it in the same estimate.

Is it cheaper to remove several trees at once?

Usually, per tree. Mobilization is a real part of the cost, so once the crew and equipment are on your property, each additional tree prices better than it would on its own visit. Tell us the whole scope when you call.
