Blanchard jobs are the shortest hauls we run. When a pine drops across a driveway off Highway 41 or a leaner shows up over a roofline after a wet snow, we are minutes away, not an hour out with a full schedule between us and you. That matters most in winter, when a hung-up top or a cracked stem cannot wait for a crew coming from Coeur d'Alene or Spokane. It also means small jobs pencil out here. A single stump, one storm-broken limb, a half-day trim: work that a crew with a long drive has to bundle or decline, we can fold into the start or end of a day because there is no windshield time to justify.
Timber lots, StoneRidge, and the Highway 41 corridor
Most Blanchard properties were carved out of standing timber, and the trees left behind are the story of local tree work: mature ponderosa and fir close to homes, shops, and wellheads, holding heavy snow all winter and drying out hard by August. Around the StoneRidge golf community the lots tighten up, with homes, cart paths, and fairways close enough together that removals need ropes and rigging rather than a straight fell. Out on the acreage north and east of town it flips the other way: overgrown stands that want thinning, old skid trails to reopen, and building sites to clear. We do both kinds of work here week in and week out.
Fire country note
Blanchard is exactly the kind of forested-edge community that wildfire planning is written for: dense timber running right up to homes, one main road through town, and long dry summers. Defensible space clearing is our flagship service, and we cut it here first, on our own properties and our neighbors'. How fast can you get to a tree job in Blanchard?
Usually faster than anywhere else we work, because the shop is in town. For hazard trees and storm damage we can often look at it the same day. For routine work like trimming or stump grinding, Blanchard jobs slot into the schedule quickly since there is no drive time to plan around.
What does tree removal cost in Blanchard?
It depends on the tree's size and condition, what it could hit, and how much rigging the site requires. A straight fell on open ground costs the least. A dead pine leaning over a house or garage takes more time, gear, and people. Every estimate is free and done in person on your property.
Do you work on the tight lots around StoneRidge?
Yes, regularly. Homes near the golf community often have big pines close to structures, cart paths, and neighboring lots, so we rope down sections rather than felling whole trees. We plan the drop zones, protect the turf and hardscape, and haul everything out when we are done.
Can you leave the wood for firewood?
Your call. We can buck the trunk into rounds and stack it where you want it, or chip and haul everything off the property. Most Blanchard customers with a wood stove keep the wood, and it usually lowers the price a little since we are hauling less away.
